October 7: Noble Audio – The Wizard is Back

The birth of a new CIEM company is not something we see every day, but – joy of joys – today signals the official launch of Noble Audio.

Noble’s starting lineup includes 3-, 4-, 5-, 8-, and 10(!)-driver models shelled in acrylic, as well as 3-, 4-, and 5-driver models shelled in silicone. It seems that The Wizard and friends are starting right where their previous venture, Heir Audio, left off.

It’s safe to say that all of Heir’s legendary aesthetic flair has carried over to Noble as well. Don’t take my word for it, however – check out the photos below and judge for yourself:

I will be reviewing the quad-driver, silicone-shelled Noble 4S shown above in due time. In the meantime, an official press release and more photos of my 4S can be found below.

The launch of Noble marks Dr. John Moulton’s (aka Wizard) return to the in-ear monitor industry. With brand new products (Kaiser 10, silicone CIEMs), updated products (three, four, eight driver acrylic CIEMs), and other refinements Wizard looks to further solidify his position as a driving force in the high-end portable audio space. Also back with Wizard is his partner Brannan Mason, as well as the original CIEM team consisting of Nancy, Echo, Kaiser Soze, and D.B. Cooper.

Wizard goes by the name FullCircle on the popular online forum Head-Fi.org, while Brannan goes by the name bangkokkid.
