TLDR:
The Ear Fun Air Pro 4 is a course correction based on the constructive criticisms shared by industry pundits. Harman-inspired and jam-packed with features, the Air Pro 4 displays laudable technicalities for a wireless set, alongside reliable noise cancellation and ambient modes.
Pros:
+ Comfortable and ergonomically-shaped, lightweight plastic chassis
+ Excellent battery life
+ Harman-inspired tuning provides top-end clarity, sub-bass oomph and good technicalities
+ Microphone reception and quality is exceptional, with good legibility and volume
+ Noise cancellation and ambient modes work as intended
Cons:
– Harman-inspired is a double-edged sword amidst the 2-year flood of ‘similar’ products
– Touch-sensitive volume controls are unintuitive and cumbersome to use/trigger
– Still incomparable ‘sonically’ to wired sets in a similar price bracket
Introduction
Earfun is a consumer audio brand that specializes in creating high-quality wireless audio products designed for everyday use. Since its inception in 2018, the company has built a robust product lineup, earning numerous accolades and recognition from industry leaders.
Although Bluetooth technology has seen significant improvements over the past decade, audiophiles still approach wireless audio with a healthy dose of cynicism and distrust. On the flip side, many consumers are willing to compromise on sound quality for the sake of practical features and ease of use. Brands like Earfun understand this delicate balance.
Today, we’re diving into the Air Pro 4, Earfun’s highly anticipated wireless IEM offering. Priced at a reasonable $89.99, it’s positioned in the budget category.
The Air Pro 4 can be purchased from Earfun’s official web store.
Technology

Smart & Adaptive Noise Cancellation
According to EarFun’s official website, the Air Pro 4’s are equipped with QuietSmart™ 3.0, which adapts to ambient noise and the user’s wearing position. Alternatively, select from three manual levels: high, normal, and low, for the perfect sound environment.
Unboxing

The Air Pro 4 has a very straightforward, no-frills package, adorned in EarFun’s corporate colors of cream and yellow. It’s tiny, unassuming box comes equipped with your standard suite of accessories:
- Earfun Air Pro and Charging Case
- USB-C female to female charging cable
- Standard silicon (S, M, L) tips
- Instructions and warranty placards
There isn’t anything to write home about, but the included accessories and peripherals provide what is necessary for a fuss-free listening experience.
Design
The Air Pro 4 follows a unassuming but safe aesthetic, deriving heavily from the conventional and utilitarian aesthetic of early-Jabra products.
The Air Pro 4 shares the same silhouette of the universally ubiquitous Air Pod Pros, with an elongated stem housing the array of microphones, and a nozzle on each side. The key differences are the ‘in-ear’ design and proportionally-larger body.
The chassis itself is smooth to the touch, with a mix of glossy and matte surface treatments. The plastic used to fabricate the shells are lightweight and durable. There are no physical buttons, but only touch-sensitive surfaces/patches for volume and control manipulation.
There’s no real problems with the design. It is non-descript, subtle and unobtrusive. I appreciate how it slips under the radar without attracting unwanted attention to oneself.
Comfort and Ergonomics

The Air Pro 4’s ultra-lightweight chassis equates to a comfortable experience. The elongated spout comfortably sits at a 45-degree angle away from the ears, while the nozzles don’t exert any unwanted pressure within the ear canals. The Air Pro 4 is built for protracted listening sessions with minimal fatigue.
The Air Pro 4 is comfort exemplified, and there is little for me to nitpick in this section.
