Introduction

EarFun is a relatively young, innovative audio company that focuses on producing high-quality, budget-friendly wireless audio products, primarily earbuds and headphones. The company has quickly gained attention in the crowded audio market for its ability to combine premium features with affordable pricing.

Today, we’re focusing on the Earfun Clip, an open-earbud model designed to rival the likes of the Nothing Ears Open at the modest price of 69.99 USD.

The Earfun Clip can be purchased on Earfun’s official website.

Unboxing

  • EarFun Clip earbuds
  • Charging case
  • USB Type-C charging cable
  • User manual

The unboxing experience of the EarFun Clip is rather straightforward, offering a clean and user-friendly presentation. Inside the box, you’ll find the earbuds neatly packaged along with a compact charging case, a USB-C charging cable, and a couple of extra ear tips for a customizable fit. The packaging is minimal yet sturdy, and the inclusion of the extra tips adds a nice touch for comfort. Nothing more, nothing less.

Comfort and Ergonomics

Open-ear earbuds always have an interesting design, and the EarFun Clip takes a unique approach. At first glance, I wasn’t entirely sure where the earbuds should sit, but once I figured it out, the design made a lot of sense.

Rather than looping over the ear or inserting into the ear canal, the Clip attaches under your ear, with the main speaker floating just outside the ear. It’s a simple yet ergonomic design that feels intuitive. I was impressed with how secure they felt—there’s no need to jam anything into your ears, yet they don’t feel like they’re going to slip off during active use.
