1More has been quiet for several years but has broken that with the release of a new model, the P50. It’s been a while since the company has revealed an audiophile-focused model and, the P50 sets to elevate beyond the level of the Quad Driver before it. This model has been in development since 2018 and is only now hitting store shelves.
The P50 is a 5-driver hybrid design as suggested by the model name, sporting a DLC (diamond-like carbon) dynamic driver and a unique quad-planar tweeter system. The planar drivers are exclusive to this model, featuring a dual magnet design for excellent top-end extension, soundstage and clarity. Moreover, the P50 supports smart controls with a 3-button remote and mic alongside a new more ergonomic over-ear design. This is definitely an interesting IEM, stay tuned for a review in the near future!
