In this thread I will keep posting whatever Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals I think are no-brainers for those in the market for new headphones.
SteelSeries Flux – $10 + Shipping from SteelSeries.com
Discount: The SteelSeries Flux In-Ear is $10 + shipping (normally $50) direct from SteelSeries, or free with orders of $25 or more
Where: here (steelseries.com)
Why: While not the most durable headset, the Flux In-Ear offers very good audio performance at $50. For $10, it’s quite possibly the best bang/buck in portable audio. See our IEM Buyer’s Guide for more info.
Brainwavz M3 Earphones – $50 + Free Shipping and more from Amazon.com
Discount: The Brainwavz M3 is $50 (normally $80) on Amazon while dual-driver R3 model is $80 (normally $120).
Where: M3 here (amazon.com); R3 here (amazon.com)
Why: Though not the most ergonomic, Brainwavz’ M3 and R3 earphones offer solid value in the sound quality department. See our full reviews for more info.
Brainwavz M1 Earphones – $30 + Free Shipping and more from mp4nation.net
Discount: Normally $40-45, the Brainwavz M1 can be had for $30 from mp4nation.net
Where: here (mp4nation.net) (use coupon code BF2014M1DEAL)

Other mp4nation deals of note:
Brainwavz M2 for $34.50 with coupon code BF2014BWM2

Creative Aurvana Live! Headphones- $49.99 + Free Shipping from amazon.com
Discount: Normally $70+, the classic CAL! can be had for just $49.99 from amazon.com
Where: here (amazon.com)
Why: Despite its age, the original Creative Aurvana Live! (sister headphone to the Denon D1001k) is still a fantastic headphone – an ultra-comfortable small circumaural with warm, punchy sound that works well both at home and on the go. The only downside is that noise isolation isn’t great.

Sony MDR-V6 Headphones – $49.99 + Free Shipping from amazon.com
Discount: Perhaps the definition of a classic headphone, the MDR-V6 is down from its usual ~$80 to $49.99 at amazon.com
Where: here (amazon.com)
Why: The cornerstone of many studios, Sony’s MDR-V6 is a nigh-indestructible professional monitor that still works well in consumer applications. This is a headphone that can (and does) last decades of use. If that’s not good value, I don’t know what is.

Discount: Normally about $400, the HD600 can again be had for $275 from BuySonic.
Where: BuySonic.com (free registration required)
Why: Despite its age, the HD600 remains one of my favorite full-size cans and is a no-brainer in this price range.

Why: The latest-generation of Audio-Technica’s best-selling M50 monitors rarely drops down to this price, and with the free E6 thrown in, it’s quite a deal

Agreed! Glad at least some of them were picked up by people who will appreciate the sound quality and not just those getting a free gift with their keyboards 🙂
Just got the SteelSeries Flux in the mail, for $10, it’s super solid. Thanks Joker!
Got it, removed. Added some deals from lendmeuears instead.
Ostry now gone from MP4Nation
HD600 is out of stock. Added deals on the Creative Aurvana Live and MDR-V6
If I can get through this holiday season without more stuff piling up, I’ll be so happy!
Haha.. Full time with extra shifts!
I re-visited your advice (https://theheadphonelist.com/brief-impressions-vsonic-vsd3s-ostry-kc06-havi-b3-pro/#comment-25469), where you said I “absolutely had to” buy the Ostry. 😛
And at 30$ I thought, why not, I’d make it my ‘third addition’.
LMUE had the M1 on sale at 15$ ! No surprise when it cleared out very quickly. But they do have other interesting offers http://www.lendmeurears.com/black-friday-specials/
PS: What’s on your list this year? Hands too full already? 🙂
Haven’t tried the TTPOD or the KC06A. From what I’ve been told the KC06A is a minor improvement on the KC06 but I can’t attest to how minor.
Joker, have you listened to the TTPOD-T1E? Wondering how they compare with the Ostry KC06. They’re roughly the same price, but retail for Ostry obviously much higher. Also, is the Ostry KC06A a level better than the KC06 or just mildly? Thanks!
Thanks, moved the ATH-M50x. Not surprised to be honest. Good price on a very popular can.
All links updated. Added the Brainwavz M1 at $30 as well – normal sale price, but still a good earphone for the $$. Also, HD600 price went down to $265.
Sigh… have a feeling keeping this list going will be a full-time job for the next 72 hours.
Wow. Those M50s cleared out pretty quick.
PS: MP4nation links are broken.
