Following up on the HE-R9, Hifiman continues to expand their closed-back headphone lineup with the new HR-RE10D. This headphone introduces a much higher-end design with pricing to match. Performance has been increased using an aviation aluminium frame, high-volume wood earcups and a powerful 50mm dynamic driver with topology diaphragm. Moreover, the HE-RE10D is compatible with the Bluemini II modules (not included) for those wanting high-end wireless audio. The company reasons that this design is able to achieve a sound similar to an open-back model with the isolation and convenience of a closed-back shell.
