The new Empyrean II brings further refinement with a similar Isodynamic hybrid driver design from Rinaro. Meze states that the goal was to produce a more neutral sound signature that retains the easy-listening character of the original whilst enhancing fine detail retrieval.

As before, the headphones will feature a fully rebuildable CNC-milled chassis lauded for its superlative comfort now in a sleek matte black finish. Two new earpad designs further entice with each unit including a pair of leather/Alcantara pads focussing on balanced detail presentation alongside a pair of angled Alcantara pads sporting a brighter and airier tonality.
